EDUCATION:

At the North Bristol County Association of REALTORS® (NBCAR) Education is a main priority. We believe that in order to serve the public in an informed manner it is important to continue with your education long after you have received your license. The NBCAR diversifies its course offerings in order to fit everyone's schedule.

Operates a branch of ABC Real Estate Training Institute

Offers continuing education videos available at the Board Office.

Holds monthly continuing education programs.

Provides seminars on information pertinent to the Real Estate Professional and changing laws.

Offers Real Estate Designation Courses.

Provides an Orientation class for new members, which includes NAR Code of Ethics.

 

 

INFORMATION:
The NBCAR is a useful source of information. If you have questions, we have answers! Our staff is knowledgeable and is here to serve you, the member. Where else could you find a staff that boasts over 25 years of experience. If we don't have the answer for you, we know where to get it. With our years of experience we have forged relationships with professionals involved in many aspects of the real estate processes. Members can rest assured that questions will be answered correctly and in a timely manner.

When you pay your membership dues to the NBCAR part of the payment is for your membership in the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR). Your membership in MAR entitles the designated REALTOR® to the legal hotline. MAR has attorney's available to assist the DR with legal questions pertaining to real estate matters.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS:
All REALTORS® are bound by a strict Code of Ethics. The NBCAR staff is trained by The National Association of REALTORS® to investigate and mediate all complaints that may arise. The staff at NBCAR is here to assist the real estate professional as well as the public.

POLICY/ LEGISLATIVE REGULATIONS:
The NBCAR staff monitors proposed changes in policy, state legislation and regulatory issues that affect the way you do business. The NBCAR staff updates the membership and work with the directors to ensure that decisions are made in the best interest of the REALTOR®. The Staff of NBCAR attends all conferences- local, state and national-in order to ensure the most up to date information is filtered to our members.

PUBLICATIONS: 
The NBCAR website is available at www.northbristolrealtors.com  which has information and links  informing you of upcoming events, as well as providing legal updates, and any other information that the staff feels membership should be aware of.

COMMITTEES:
As a member of the NBCAR you have access to join any of our numerous committees. Becoming a member of a committee means you have the ability to effect change and shape the way your Board operates. Call the Board Office for more information on a particular committee.

FORMS:
At the NBCAR we offer our members a wide variety of forms. We stock forms that are required to comply with State and National regulations. We also stock other real estate related supplies and forms; all of our stock is sold at "cost" to our members.
